How does it work?

✔ Each mini-session lasts 30 minutes.

✔ I run around 10 families per day, so the schedule is very tight. Please plan to arrive a little early so you’re ready to start on time.

✔ If you’re late, we’ll simply have less time for photos (and nobody wants to feel rushed).

Normally in full sessions, I don’t mind if people run 10-15 minutes behind, but with Christmas Minis, every family has their own slot and I need to keep things flowing. Think of it like catching a train - if you miss a bit, it’s really hard to get back on track 🚂.

💡 Good news: 30 minutes is usually plenty of time to do both setups, family photos and even a quick outfit change!

Setups

There is no need to choose just one setup! You’ll have access to two magical scenes during your slot ✨

Babies & Children

✔ These sessions are designed for children who can sit unsupported (usually 6–7 months+).

✔ If your baby cannot yet sit, we can still take photos - perhaps lying under the Christmas tree or being held by a parent. Just note there will be fewer posing options compared to older babies.

✔ This is not a newborn session, so we won’t be doing sleepy posing or waiting for babies to settle.

💡 If you have toddlers (especially around age 2 - you know what I mean), my best advice is: don’t stress! They might not want to do everything we plan, and that’s absolutely fine. We’ll capture whatever moments we can - sometimes the “in-between” expressions are the cutest of all.

Shoes

Because of the flooring and setups, the shoes you wear into the studio (outdoor shoes) cannot be used on set.

✔ If you’d like shoes in your photos, please bring a clean pair of shoes with you (carried in a bag, not worn from outside).

✔ For Santa’s Village, clean boots or festive shoes can look lovely.

✔ For the Cozy Living Room, there’s really no need for shoes - barefoot looks beautiful and natural.

✔ Exceptions: if mum would like to wear heels, then dad should also bring some nice clean shoes/boots so the family look is balanced.

Outfit Tips

✔ You’ll have time for one quick outfit change for children if you’d like.

✔ If your child is shy, sensitive or not keen on changes, just stick with one outfit - accessories like a hat can switch things up without stress.

✔ Keep in mind comfort is key. A relaxed child = a happy session!

After Your Session

✔ The remaining balance is due on the day of your session. Please bring cash with you. It will make the process quick and smooth - no waiting around for online payments - which means we can spend more time focusing on your photos and making the most of your 30-minute slot.

✔ Within 1-2 weeks, you’ll receive a private online gallery with around 20-25 images.

✔Your package includes 4 digital images of you choice (or 5 if you’re a returning client). Extra images are £15 each or you can upgrade to the full gallery at a discounted price.

✔I will also offer beautiful extras that make perfect Christmas gifts (prints for grandparents, mini pocket albums, wall arts, special keepsake items). You will be able to see the samples on a day of your session. Please keep in mind orders must be placed by 1st December to be ready for Christmas.

Once you’re on Barton Road, please make your way to the car park located behind the concrete cow, directly in front of the reception area. You can park anywhere, but the closer you park to my studio, the better. My studio is now located in a Business Campus building, which you’ll find on the right-hand side when facing the reception. There’s a small yard in front of the building — please walk towards it. You’ll see a set of stairs leading up to the entrance. Once you’re at the building, please select my business name on the intercom and I’ll let you in. 

If you arrive early and I’m still with another family, that’s absolutely fine. You can wait in the downstairs waiting area, and I’ll come down to collect you when it’s your turn.If needed, you can text me on 07936666675.

Final Note

Please remember - these sessions are about joy, not perfection. Your kids don’t need to sit still and smile for every shot. Some of the best photos are when they giggle, look away or even give me their cheeky faces. Try not to stress about the little things - outfits, poses, whether your child wants to sit on the prop or not. We’ll go with the flow and capture your family’s festive spirit as it is.
